Cahersiveen to Waterville. 24 km -by bus! October 9

We had a great rest.  This morning our shoes are still damp and our bodies are complaining.  Well Sid never complains much and I am trying hard not to.  We have a great breakfast and say good bye to miss USA. She is taking the bus back to Kilarney..nice girl

I have had a weeks worth of very bad hair days btw.  We putter around the town

And walk to the pier

We also saw a sign housing a funeral home in days gone by

And on the other side OShea had a hardware store

For lunch we had the most delish seafood chowder...more seafood than broth..so good

At 4:35 we board the bus for Waterville and find ourselves at the Klondike B &B. 

It is spotless and we can hear the tide from our room...love it

An observation we made today is that most of the Irish men have a head full of thick hair!
