On the road - October 15

This morning after breakfast we headed to the bus depot and found our way back to the Kerry airport to pick up our rental.  After signing everything and being lectured on bringing back the car with full tank of gas by Miss Efficient Hertz Rental Person we  jumped (well Sid folded himself in) into our method of transport.
Just got out of the airport. And noticed that the tank was only 3/8 full.  Well feck.  Back to the airport and Miss Efficient Hertz Rental Person who was oh so sorry for the oversight went to fill the tank.  Jeepers.
We are renting a Corsa airbag.
The steering is on the right side.  It is a standard.  Sid is so very brave.  I have my Fred Flinstone brakes ready at all times.  Never can tell when an emergency might arise.
We are headed to Dingle but pull over for this vista
Isn't it beautiful?
Sid and his Chariot
We drive through Dingle and do
Which is a short coastal loop west of Dingle
We get back to the touristy Dingle and have lunch there at Murphys Pub.  Methinks there is one in every town.  The locals are all commenting on the very fine weather we are having just now.
We get to our B & B at Spa ( the name of the town)
FYI the dings in the car are not ours!
We do a two hour walk along the Atlantic shore
And we work on additions to our shell collection. I smile about that b/c I always think we find such
cool shells but when you get home they look just like all the other shells...

We are having a great time.  Sid mentions that driving will be a challenge, and I will be a challenged navigator ( they actually still make cars without a compass??  Really??  Why??). So nice to have theses days to explore this beautiful country!
