Restful Day in Killarney October 14

This morning, after a very delish breakfast at the Abbey, we wear our cleanest dirty clothes and find a laundromat. It was $7.50 E to wash and dry one load.  I thought that was a lot but don't really have a point of reference .

We settle on a route for our remaining time in Ireland and decide on following the Wild Atlantic Way
We will end up in Dublin and want to get to both Waterford and Cork so a bit of back tracking for us. Sid wants to rent the smallest car he can fit into!  Driving on the wrong side of the road will be a challenge as will being a passenger (and staying quiet)

We have supper at Murphys Pub which, according to trip advisor, is the #1 rated pub in Killareny. Sid has lasagna and I have a prawn, mango, avocado salad.  After supper we attend a concert at St. Mary's church with the Fishermans Choir from Cornwall England performing .  Most entertaining.

And wasn't that a ball game...had to check the final score and highlights at 2am!  Yay!

We are deeply saddened reading about the tradgedy in Eckville - praying for a peace that surpasses understanding .....
