We had a costal walk today and I believe the most beautiful one day walk ever.

This poor photo shows the Skellig Michael in the background. We had certainly hope to take a tour of the monastery but the tours have ceased for the year. As a point of interest the new Star Wars movie is being filmed there.

We are walking one mile back into the town for supper at the Blind Piper Pub
I remember that day well. Just lovely. And we had dinner at the Blind Piper too. I wish I'd bought a t shirt there. What a pity Skellig Michael tours are closed for the season. And I'm staggered they are allowing filming for Star Wars there.
ReplyDeleteWe stopped counting those stiles after a while but I wish I hadn't. I think a photo series of them would be quite good.
